ONE – BE THE FIRST CUTTING EDGE MODERN HOME BUILT ON ISLE OF CAPRI IN 2003

 

THIS MODERN 3-STORY PRIVATE HOME WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED BY WOODY FRIESE IN 2001 AND COMPLETED IN 2004. THIS PROJECT WAS DERIVED FROM MODERN HOME CONCEPTS DEVELOPED AND STUDIED IN CALIFORNIA BY BOTH THE OWNER AND ARCHITECT. ONCE THE DESIGN IDEAS WERE ESTABLISHED, THEN BECAME THE LONG PROCESS OF MATERIAL SOURCING IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH SOUTH FLORIDA’S HURRICANE CODE. AFTER 2 YEARS OF CONTRUCTION THE REINFORCED CONCRETE AND STEEL STRUCTURE BECAME A BECON FOR MODERN ARCHITECTURE ON THE LAS OLAS ISLE’S OF FORT LAUDERDALE.

FAST FORWARD TO 2021 AND NOW 421 WAS PURCHASED BY A NEW OWNER WHO EMBRACES MODERN ARCHITECTURE. CURRENTLY, THE HOUSE IS BEING COMPLETELY RENOVATED AND BROUGHT INTO “MODERNIST ARCHITECTURE OF 2020”.
