THIS GASTROPUB WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED AND BUILT AS AN ITALIAN BRICK OVEN RESTAURANT FOR THE WELL-KNOWN SARDELLI FAMILY RESTAURATEURS. THE 3,200 S.F. BUILDING WITH A 600 S.F. COVERED OUTDOOR PATIO WAS CREATED AND BUILT AS A NEW STRUCTURE. A LONG LINEAR BAR ALIGNS THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RESTAURANT WITH THE CENTER SECTION FOCUSING ON THE BRICK PIZZA OVEN TO THE REAR. THE INTERIOR FOLLOWS A MORE INDUSTRIAL LOOK WITH POLISHED CONCRETE FLOORS, TEXTURED PLASTER WALLS, EXPOSED BAR JOIST CEILING AND DUCT-WORK. THE OUTDOOR PATIOS ARE BUILT WITH EXPOSED WOOD BEAMS WITH TONGUE AND GROOVE CEILINGS. AFTER THE REDESIGN INTO THE GASTROPOD ADDITIONAL KEG COOLERS WERE ADDED AND A 42 TAP BAR BACK. THE OPEN KITCHEN DESIGN ADDS A UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE FOR ALL THE GUEST.
